Free Kicks

Kick-Off
One player allowed to be in attacking half to play ball.Ball is in play when ball is touched and moves.
Drop Balls
Uncontested with opponents no nearer than 4.5 yds.In play when contacts the ground.Must touch another player for a goal to be scored after drop ball restart.Possesion is given to last team in possession prior to stop of play, except in penalty area possesion is given to defending goalkeeper.Ball that contacts a referee in the field of play that alters play (out of bounds, interferes with a pass, starts a promising attack for opponent, etc..) is awarded a dropball to last team in possesion.
Throw-In
If taken improperly, player is given a 2nd try to begin season. (No throw-ins have been taken in over a year.Can tighten later in the season.)
Goal Kick
▪Ball is in play when touched and moves.(Short goal kick is allowed.)
▪Defending team must remain behind Build-out Line until the ball is played outside of the penalty area by the team taking the goal kick.
▪If ball is kicked over the halfway line without it touching the ground or another player, IFK to the opposing team where the ball crossed the halfway line.
Keeper Release
If the GK throws, passes, punts, or drop kicks the ball over the halfway line without it touching the ground or another player, IFK to the opposing team where the ball crossed the halfway line.
